Assemblage Art

My assemblage art combines the old and the new, the ordinary and the extraordinary, or the whimsical and the sedate.  Many of my pieces are made from antique and vintage pieces that I repurpose to create something new and interesting.  It is not uncommon for my pieces to contain antique fabrics, lamp parts, vintage buttons, old jewelry and of course a fair amount of “bling”.

Oil Paintings

My love of nature inspires my paintings.  Each of the four seasons provides its unique beauty.  Whether it’s the peaceful quiet of a snowy winter, the lush foliage of a forest in summer, the bounteous flow of waterfalls in spring or the striking colors of fall, there is a beauty to be captured on the canvas.

I view each cuff as a blank canvas and love to sort through my collection of artifacts, pieces of vintage jewelry, beads, shells, pearls, semi precious stones, metals, glass and much more to put together the perfect piece.

For the woman who enjoys having her own, unique accessories, these pieces fit that need.  Each compact and pillbox is one of a kind and hand signed.  Whether it is natural stone, semi-precious gems, crystals or other material, it is likely to inspire me.
